These people are true heroes. We met them in Trinidad in March. They are so down to earth and are living their life. The book is a must read. We have recommended to many of our friends and they feel the same way.
starts off strong, but gets very slow through the middle of the story
Outstanding account of the year in captivity, written by Paul and Rachel Chandler.
Since my husband and I are sailors I found this very interesting and it is hard to believe what peoplewill do. I read this book in one day, could not put it down.
Interesting but tough to get through what is essentially a journal about the anxiety, discomfort and boredom of being a ransom captive.
The novel is very well written and full of details and adventure! I could see myself with them at sea!
I enjoyed it as I am a sailor but do only local things. At times I found it slow but overall it was enjoyable.
Not terribly interesting. A lot of minutiae. I had to read this for a book club but would not recommend it.
