I was really impressed with the entire book after going through it. It is written in a very clear language with easy to understand information that is well organized. Every bit of this book was very gainful and I will like to thank the author for this wonderful piece. Am glad I purchased it and I will highly recommend this book to all.

There are a lot of information in this book that educates the reader about how to plant marijuana and how to take care of it. It is a good book for those who already have a marijuana garden. They may already know a lot about gardening marijuana, but I think they can learn a couple of things from this book.

Bought because of the high rating on reviews. This book is OK, would not recommend because it is very general. Better to buy a book with more information.

I love the fact that the author provided information about both outdoor and indoor set up, in case the reader prefers any one of the two to grow his plant. There are really great tips in this book and am glad I read it.

Simple, basic, I keep it handy for questions. Great starter book

This book teaches you all that is required to attain good results while farming the marijuana plant. It teaches you and counsels you on the cost of setting up marijuana farm and how it can be maintained. I assure you that you will not regret reading this wonderful book.

Would have liked more pictures and which strains were used for what pain. Also, the germination/planting information was not too clear.

"It is imperative to ask why so many Western scholars...are committed to viewing possession as a consequence of a women's deprivation rather than their privilege or perhaps their inclination...This is a classic but unhappily andocentric portrayal of women, who are forever seen as reacting to men rather than acting for themselves within a specific cultural context" (140). This assertion made by Boddy in Wombs and Alien Spirits: Women, Men and the Zar Cult in Northern Sudan aptly serves as the impetus to the endeavor successfully undertaken by Boddy in this work.Janice Boddy presents a lengthy ethnographic work concerning the Zar cult of the Sudan. Boddy's work draws from observations she made during a two year stay in the city of Hofriyat in the late 1970s. The work features systemically dispersed highly detailed first person narratives; these journal entry styled pieces are informative and dryly humorous with accounts ranging from arrival in the village - and her displeasure at the presence of large spiders in her hut -- to lengthy recounts of Zar ceremonies ripe with bright imagery.Boddy presents her work in three parts which is helpful with overall correlation. The lengthiest and most weighty part of the book is inarguably the middle section where Boddy addresses and recounts the Zar ceremonies. These ceremonies feature the possession of women whose spirits present themselves in various personalities. These possessions tend to afflict mostly women particularly those whose fertilization was been activated. Some are distinctly Western personalities: doctor, lawyer, etc. One poignant account features the spirit of a military officer who has requested the acquisition of a cane, cigarettes, and -even - a radio (125-26).Boddy's argument is found the presentation of Zar as an idiom; a veritable cultural resource with a tri-faceted function: "(1) that it is based on consensually validated, ritually confirmed information; (2) that it is conceptually removed...from primary idioms intrinsic to routine pratice; and (3) that is drawn upon collectively and individually by villagers to articulate certain problems and experiences of everyday life. (137). Boddy argues that Zar does not function as a method and outlet for women to personify any perceived cultural subordination, rather these ceremonies serve as highly sharpened and -arguably - exaggerated representations of self and their culture (270-1). This argument is only further supported when Boddy presents statistical data finding that most of those affected by possession are married women of child bearing age. These facts taken under examination with some of the most common denoting characteristics of possession (often related to fertility - infertility, miscarriage, etc) underscore Boddy's assertion that Zar functions as an idiom.The sweeping history found in the first part of the work, while helpful, is ultimately extraneous, especially considering that this work is already highly particularized and assumes one has some functioning knowledge of African history and/or culture. The level of detail found in the personal narratives allows for vibrant imagery and their calculated dispersal throughout the work is highly effective in allowing personalization in a sea of analysis that at times is entirely too lengthy.

Lots of repetitive stuff from his other book, Bush Craft 101, I thought it was going to be a totally different book, but it's very similar.

This is the Third book in Dave Canterbury's, Bushcraft series. The book is well written, yet incorporates a number word for word paragraphs and information contained in his first two Bushcraft books. I think the Illustrations of traps could be better as well. Canterbury's Basic and Advanced Bushcraft Books were excellent. However illustrations of knots could also better as well, in these earlier books.

Mostly a rehash of his first two books which I've read a couple of times each. Very limited trapping information, really too little to be of any real value. I fear an otherwise very knowledgeable guy has caved in to commercial success.

Not what I expected at all. I thought the book would purely contains how to do bushcraft stuff while using ONLY what's found in nature. That's not the case. I see it as a fun cookbook rather than a field guide. I didn't return in in the hopes that I'll get bored enough to actually use it.

Nice little book with a lot of info, and well organized. Based on the title, my expectation was that there would be more survival-style tips and tricks; this book is geared my toward those going out on backpacking or camping expeditions, with a lot of ideas for things to purchase and take along. For those readers looking for such a guide, the author has included a lot of useful ideas.The illustrations are excellent.

I'm about 3 quarters of the way through now, it's a good read. I don't own his other books so I don't have a reference point there but I have read others saying that there's some repetition between them, which I'd think could be expected. It's why I chose this 1 actually since it addresses my interests beyond bushcraft. I think it's pretty well-written and has some good ideas within, recommended.

I love this book is very detailed & very knowledgeable. I also like how they have different chapters for different survival tactics and scenarios. Dave Canterbury also has been one of my favorites & I'm describing on his YouTube Channel.... With his Bushcraft survival techniques & old school survival & camping. He is a great survival expert as well as a book writer and author. I have bought all of his Bushcraft series and looking forward to his upcoming release Here on Amazon. I honestly can say I have learned a lot and I'm very confident with his knowledge and learning from reading these books & as well his YouTube channel.

Another good book, by Dave Canterbury, this is the third in his series that i have purchased..all are great information to add to the tool box.although i do have to say , i live on the west coast so alot of the plant infi isnt relivent to my area
